Welcome back to Chart Chat. It's been a beautiful month of family gatherings, barbeques and Summer events. Hope everyone is taking the time to enjoy friends, family and festivals.
New in the Top 10 this week are Electric Swing Circus with "Kicking Up Dirt (Jamie Berry Remix)." It rises from 15 to 10. Riff Kitten steps up two spots to 9 with new banger, "Hello Stranger." And Laurens S and LVDS jump from 13 to 5 with the club friendly, "Tell Me." It's the first Top 10 appearance for Laurens S and twelfth for LVDS.
Pisk and Little Violet slip from 3 to 8 with former Number 1, "Wicked."
Emma Lea and Tom ESC move up two spots to stop at 7 with, "Mr Sunshine."
Dutty Moonshine Big Band climb to number 6 with, "Skank Out." It features MC Pean. Their new Summer banger with Greg Blackman, "Everybody's Talking," arrives down at 13.
Full Tilt Collective's, "The Window Song," remains at number 4 for a second week.
Postmodern Jukebox and Tatum Langley's Green Day cover of, "Basket Case," slips from Number 1 to 3.
Mathew V's, "Anything Goes," climbs to number 2 with the help of Wolfgang Lohr remixing.
And new at Number 1 are The Swing Bot and Little Violet with their collaboration, "Busy Doing Nothing."
For The Swing Bot this is his 17th Top 10 and sixth Number 1. And for Little Violet it's her 16th Top 10 and 11th Number 1.
Also worth mentioning in the Top 50 this week, are Parov Stelar and Stelartronic arriving with, "Breathe," down at 46. Marina & The Kats are new with, "Shim Sham (Jamie Berry Remix)," at 37. Swing'it also arrive with, "The Mayor Of Storyville (Electro Swing Spin)," at number 32.
Tony Bennett arrives with the Lady Gaga collaboration, "I Can't Give You Anything But Love (Parov Stelar Remix)." The track reached Number 1 back in November of 2015 and returns to the chart because of Tony Bennett's death last week at 96 years.
Over on the album chart, DJ Mibor's, Electro Swing Sound System, is at number 5. Wolfgang Lohr's, Electro Swing (Radio Edits) is at 4. Little Violet's, Code Red, remains at 3. The Swing Bot climbs up to 2. And Postmodern Jukebox's, The Fourth Tuning is at Number 1 for a sixth week.
