Welcome back to the blog. Last week Bart&Baker swang their way to the top of the chart with, "Last Night A DJ Swang My Life." It features Minnie Valentine on vocals. Will they hang on to Number 1 for a second week? Keep reading.
Wolfgang Lohr and Alanna Lyes are at 10 this week with, "Golden Twenties." It reached number 3 back in the Summer of 2020. It starts the Top 10 off.
Smokey Joe & The Kid with Blake Worrell are above that with, "Somehow."
The only new entry in the Top 10 this week is from Catjam and Offbeat. They rebound back up to 8 with, "Catmandu VIP." They peaked at 5 in December. Dropped out. Rose back up to 9. Dropped out again. And now it's at number 8.
Catjam also debuts down at 39 with the very clubby, "Milkshake Selecta."
The Top Swinging Entry on the Top 50 chart this week belongs to Kumiho with, "Legend," at 36.
Caravan Palace's, "Black Betty," stays at 7.
As well as Odd Chap and Little Violet, they stay at number 6 with, "Crazy Out There."

When it comes to fast, action packed Electro Swing, no one goes harder than Odd Chap. He dropped this gem of an EP last year. It's a mellow route for the popular DJ/Producer to take and it works nicely. The melodic, "Equinox," debuts from the EP this week at number 47.

LVDS also stays at number 5 with the ultra smooth, "Wonderful You."
"Simon Says," by Duke Skellington and Hypeman Sage slips to number 4.
The Speakeasy Streets climb to number 3 with popular club hit, "Sweet Deceit (SpekrFreks Remix)."
Bart&Baker and Minnie Valentine's hit, "Last Night A DJ Swang My Life," falls to number 2.
And Szigeti Juli happily make their way to Number 1 with, "Feel So Happy."
They scored their last Number 1 back in June with, "Don't Stop."

Valerie Giglio's, "Bootleg Baby," falls to number 10 to start off the Top 10.
Wolfgang Lohr and Alanna Lyes return to the Top 10 at 9 this week. They bring back, "Golden Twenties." It reached number 3 back in the Summer of 2020.
Smokey Joe & The Kid move up a couple of positions to 8 with, "Somehow." It features Blake Worrell.
Caravan Palace step up from 11 to 7 with, "Black Betty."
Odd Chap and Little Violet creep up to number 6 with, "Crazy Out There."
The last of the three new entries in the Top 10 belongs to LVDS. He leaps 22 spots to stop at number 5 with the ultra smooth, "Wonderful You."

Tape Five repeat their formula for cranking out popular Electro Swing bangers to keep radios blasting and the floors filled on their latest EP, Big Blue Swing. The Big Blue Swing EP is short, sweet and will melt away those Winter blues. Plus we're gifted a new spin on the continuing saga of Tape Five's classic, "Geraldine's Routine."
Title track from the EP rises to number 26 this week and the new spin, "Geraldine's Stomp Routine," debuts at 50.

The Top Swinging Entry on the Top 50 chart this week belongs to Postmodern Jukebox and Sweet Megg with a snappy remake of the Dua Lipa hit, "Levitating," at 35.
The Speakeasy Streets climb to number 4 with popular club hit, "Sweet Deceit (SpekrFreks Remix)."

And Szigeti Juli happily make their way to number 2 with, "Feel So Happy."
Bart&Baker and Minnie Valentine's hit, "Last Night A DJ Swang My Life," swings its way to number 1 this week.
It's Minnie's first appearance on top of the chart and for Bart&Baker it's the duo's 14th Top 10 and 4th Number 1. The tuxedo wearing duo last topped the chart in May of 2019 when, "It's In Her Heels (Wolfgang Lohr Remix)," topped the chart.

The War Is Over album is on Banzai Lab
The Swing Bot's, "The Tailor," slips to number 9. "The Tailor," has been in the Top 10 for all of its chart life. So far 10 weeks.
Odd Chap and Little Violet stay at number 8 with, "Crazy Out There."
DJ Farrapo and Carlo Maver move up six positions to stop at 7. Their energetic tropical remix of, "El Cabron," from Morru is keeping us warm this Winter.
Last week's Number 1 from Betty Booom and La Petit Orchestre falls to 6. Their remake of the classic, "Mr Sandman," drops five spots.
The Speakeasy Streets' latest club hit, "Sweet Deceit (SpekrFreks Remix)," leaps from 22 to 5. And Szigeti Juli's, "Feel So Happy," steps up from 17 to 4 to give us the last of the Top 10 entries.
Top Swinging Entry in the Top 50 this week goes to Caravan Palace with, "Black Betty." The death of television legend Betty White helped propel it back onto the chart. She starred in numerous comedic roles over the years including her starring role on The Golden Girls. "Golden Twenties," from Wolfgang Lohr and Alanna Lyes also returns at 21. And Mista Trick and Elle & The Pocket Belles come in with, "Golden Sound," at 38.
Valerie Giglio is still slowly climbing. She makes her way to number 3 with, "Bootleg Baby."
Bart&Baker's hit, "Last Night A DJ Swang My Life," jumps to 2. It features Minnie Valentine.
And starting the year off hard, Duke Skellington and Hypeman Sage step up to number 1. Their hit collaboration, "Simon Says," is the first Number 1 of 2022. Happy New Year!
For Duke Skellington, it's his 8th Top 10 and 4th Number 1. For Hypeman Sage it's the Rapper's 3rd Top 10 and 2nd Number 1.
Hypeman Sage also completes the rare chart feat of topping the chart and bottoming. His version of, "Mr Sandman," with Mista Trick, is down at the very bottom of the chart at number 50. The last act to do so was Szigeti Juli back in June of 2021. "Don't Stop," was #1 and, "All About That Bass," was at 50.
