Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. Last week Wolfgang Lohr, Emma Lea and Ashley Slater's, "Keep On Smilin," returned to the summit. Will they smile sitting on top for a third week? Keep reading.
Lamuzgueule start off the Top 10 at number 10 with their oh so sweet song, "Cookie." It jumps into the top tier from number 24.
Lyre Le Temps', "Summer Leaves," doesn't want to leave the Top 10. It moves back up to 9. It's been in the Top 10 for seven weeks now.
Minimatic's, "The Jungle Jive," slips down to number 8.
11 Acorn are also new to the Top 10 this week. They're latest, "Crazy Cat," leaps eleven positions to number 7, giving them their 19th Top 10.
Top Swinging Entry in the Top 50 this week goes to Swingrowers. They actually have a re-entry with former #1, "Hybrid." It comes in at number 23.
AronChupa and Little Sis Nora fall to 6 with, "Trombone."
Minimatic climbs to 5 with, "Bongo Craze." It features a pretty sweet Beastie Boys, "Hey Ladies" sample.
Big Swinging Shoutout this week goes to...
Dyes Iwasaki.
Tokyo Neo Swing is Dyes Iwasaki's second album. Dyes presents us with three popular formats. The radio friendly batch, followed by club remixes and then their instrumental versions. The layout works well and the guest appearances are pretty epic. Jamie Berry, Electric Swing Circus, Demondice, Deladap, Wolfgang Lohr and Lily Mizusaki (formerly Uki Mizusaki) make this a banger of an album to own for 2021.
Three tracks from the album are in the Top 50. The Wolfgang Lohr remix of "Epilogue" debuts at 26. The Jamie Berry remix of, "Future," arrives at 29 and, "Reflection," is down at 49. All feature Lily Mizusaki.
Wolfgang Lohr, Emma Lea and Ashley Slater fall down to 4 with their collaboration, "Keep On Smilin." It spent two nonconsecutive weeks at Number 1.
Swingrowers step up to 3 with, "Rose."
Jamie Berry and Little Violet climb to number 2 with their brand new fabulous collaboration, "Guilty Pleasure."
And Caro Emerald's fourteenth Top 10, "Wake Up Romeo (Pisk Remix)," steps up to Number 1 position.
The original version spent seven weeks in the Top 10 last Summer peaking at number 2. And with the rise of the remix it gives Caro her fifth Number 1.
