Happy New Year everyone. Tallulah Goodtimes ended 2020 with big hit, "Universal Love," topping the chart. Can she stay on top for a third week? Keep Reading.
Alfredo Rey & His Orchestra with Alexandra Miletta start off the Top 10 with classic hit, "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend." They jump from 19. It's the first Top 10 appearance for the group.
The second of the three new songs in the Top 10 belongs to High Step Society. They bring their latest, "No Bad Dreams," for a chart visit at number 9. They last visited in June when, "Number 9," reached number 4.
And Tallulah Goodtimes scores a second hit from album Interstellar Swing. "All I Wanna Do Is Swing," jumps from 14 to 8.
LVDS slips 4 to 7 with, "Blue Skies." And Tape Five bring they're latest, "Get Down To Luna Park (Manga Shuffle Mix)," up to number 6. Up two spots.
This week's Big Swinging Shoutout goes to...
...Mista Trick & Riff Kitten.
The two talented DJ/Producers joined forces to bring us a little EP called Swing & Bass Bristol To Minneapolis. Mista Trick and Riff Kitten both made Electro Swing, in 2020, a little more dark and dangerous with their individual styles so it was nice surprise to see the collaboration at the end of the year. We'll be boppin' to the bangers on this one for 2021. First track to chart from the EP, "Feelin' It," featuring Harriet Hayes, comes in at number 28.
Top Swinging Entry in the Top 50 this week belongs to Tia Brazda. Her hit, "Cabin Fever," gets a much needed remix and it comes in at number 21.
Atom Smith and Miss Emmma spend a third week at number 5 with, "Comin' Up Swingin."
Caravan Palace rebounds back up to 4.
And the only Christmas song to not drop this week is Riff Kitten's, "The Gift." It jumps 7 to 3.
Tony Wellin's collaboration with Alessa Ray, "Lockdown With Me," has to stay at number 2 for a second week.
And swirling in the New Year and staying at Number 1 for a third week is Tallulah Goodtimes with, "Universal Love."
