The world is swinging to Tape Five. They easily topped our chart last week with, "Get Down To Luna Park (Manga Shuffle Mix)." Keep reading to see if they hang on for a second week.
The lovely Tallulah Goodtimes starts off the Top 10 this week at 10 with, "All I Wanna Do Is Swing." She slips from 5.
Spending their eighth straight week in the Top 10 is Atom Smith and Miss Emmma's, "Comin' Up Swinging." If we include the #1 track, "Ridin' Dirty," the pair have been in the Top 10 for 16 weeks straight.
Top Swinging Entry this week belongs to Swingrowers. Their latest banger, "Rose," comes in high at number 8.
Rising five spots to stop at 7 is Yolanda Be Cool and Dcup with the 10th anniversary edition of, "We Speak No Americano."
And Tia Brazda's banging lockdown remix of, "Cabin Fever," rises to number 6.
This week's Big Swinging Shoutout goes to...
....Madam Misfit.
We gave Madam Misfit a Big Swinging Shoutout last year when her The Elixir Of Swing album dropped and it's certainly worthy of another. Especially since banger, "Feels A Little Strange," is projected to enter the Top 10 very soon.
And listen misfits, the Chap Hop artist is also part of a new female Electro Swing super group called Swing Sisters and they're currently kickstarting and working on an album that's due to be pretty epic. With the likes of Alanna Lyes, Emma Clair, Madam Misfit and Tallulah Goodtimes contributing their talents to the project, the Swing Sisters just might be the super group that crosses over to Pop Chart territory.
Madam Misfit's latest single, "Big Bad Wolf," debuts this week down at number 31.
"Champagne (Manga Shuffle Mix)," continues to climb. The swinging hit from Swing'It, Sam Norris and Jonah Hitchens climbs 10 to 5.
Marc Spieler makes the biggest leap into the Top 10 this week. He leaps nine spots to stop off at number 4 with the House flavoured, "Mama."
Staying at 3 for a second week is, "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend," by Alfredo Rey & His Orchestra with Alexandra Miletta.
Tape Five unfortunately slip to Number 2 with, "Get Down To Luna Park (Manga Shuffle Mix)."
And the latest Number 1 belongs to High Step Society. The band bring their latest hit, "No Bad Dreams," to the top of the chart.
Those in the know may remember High Step Society topping the chart back in September of 2018 when, "Is You Is (Grid Division Remix)," reached the #1 position.
