Ten entries make it onto the iSwing chart this week. The top entry, a Christmas song, "Sugar And Booze," by Ana Gasteyer lands at number 10. It's an original Christmas song descibing the best parts of the Holiday Season, sweets and alcohol.
Tape Five arrive with two more tracks from their latest album The Roaring 2020's. "Party Like It's 1929," at number 24 and, "Watch Out We're Coming Boys," comes in at number 39 . Their song, "I Shot The Sheriff," moves into the top 10 at number 8.
Of the ten new entries this week, four are Holiday related. We saw "Sugar And Booze," come in at number 10. Down at number 36 is Michael Buble's, "White Christmas," Robbie Williams comes in at 33 with, "Let's Not Go Shopping. And the final Holiday entry, at number 31, is by Dean Martin with, "Baby It's Cold Outside." The "Baby It's Cold Outside," song is receiving some online criticism because of dated lyrics. But a new version updated with politically correct lyrics by John Legend and Kelly Clarkson is receiving even more criticism and backlash because of the new updated wording. We'll see in the coming weeks which version will twinkle onto radio and the charts.
As for action in the top 10, The Swing Bot makes a big jump from 24 to 5 with, "Deuce Overdose," and Ori Dagan & Alex Pangman make a 20 position jump to number 7 with, "Pretend."
Emma Clair sadly drops out of the top 10 with last weeks number one, "Thriller Hands." She also debuts at number 27 with her latest club friendly hit, "Time To Fly." Will "Time To Fly" become her third number one in a row?
Check back next week for a new iSwing Top 40. And keep your feet on the ground and keep swinging for the stars.
